Mercedes
and Paco run Los Lentos as a family home and while Mercedes' skill at local country
cuisine has long been famous around Nigüelas, Paco himself is either to be found
in attendance behind the bar or busily tending the animals and gardens. Meals
are served either in the restaurant or, for families or groups, in the old stone
dining-room known as La Cueva (The Cave). The food - like the atmosphere - is
'fine and country' and many of the ingredients are grown organically on the homestead.
A variety of traditional vegetarian dishes are also prepared by our resident chef,
to further compliment the historical and cultural melange of this part of Spain.
