A
long soak in the Moorish hammam (steam-bath) followed by a massage in the comfort
of your own suite could be the perfect finale to a peaceful afternoon, relaxing
under the shade of the olive trees…or to a long, active day exploring the Andalusian
countryside.
The
property is situated in a beautiful riverine valley, El Valle de Lecrin watered
by the river Torrente. The terraced olive and almond groves around the Alquería
itself are ideal for a gentle stroll. Those keen on more energetic walking head
for the Alpujarras valleys, just twenty minutes away by car, which offer some
of the best hiking country in Europe. You can wander quietly through the white
villages or you can make a more extreme trek to the summit of Mulhacén, mainland
Spain's highest mountain.
Paco and Mercedes are always willing to advise
